Everyone Hates the National Security Strategy
By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened
Remarkably, even in one of the most polarizing periods in recent
history, there seems to be bipartisan consensus on at least one of Trump's
policy initiatives: everyone hates the new National Security Strategy. Both the
liberal New York Times (NYT) and the conservative Wall Street Journal
(WSJ) criticized the report as an abdication of our traditional role as the
world's policeman. Both papers also lamented the harsh language directed at
Europe and our apparent withdrawal from our historic alliance with NATO.
Perhaps most importantly, these standard bearers of the status quo criticized
the document as being soft on key adversaries - specifically, Russia and China.

Dems Can't Release Their 2024 Autopsy Because it Shows Systemic
Corruption
By Daniel Greenfield, CEO of the David Horowitz
Freedom Center
The worst kept secret that everyone but the party knows
Political parties rarely like releasing autopsies of electoral
defeats because they often become excuses for score settling or agenda pushing,
but the 2024 autopsy is one that the Democrats can't touch with a ten-million-foot
pole for all the obvious reasons. Yes, the core election issue was the economy,
and the Democrats would have probably still lost even if Biden hadn't run again
and they had swapped out Gov. Gavin Newsom, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer or Gov.
George Wallace, but any autopsy can’t get away from two really dangerous
issues. [more...]
Hochul Gives Mamdani a Big Boost in His Quest to Drive New York
City to Destruction
By Robert Spencer, Author of Holy Hell: Islam's Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who
Enable It
New York City is in for a world of hurt.
Zohran Mamdani, the mayor-elect of New York City, is (despite
his denials) quite clearly a Marxist, dreaming of the day when he can seize the
means of production. He is also a Twelver Shi’ite Muslim — you know, the good
folks who rule the Islamic Republic of Iran and scream "Death to America"
on a routine basis. And so, it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that
Mamdani's plans for New York are not exactly going to transform the Big Apple
into a hub for business and opportunity. If Mamdani gets his way, the city will
become even more expensive, crime-ridden, inefficient, squalid, dirty, and
dangerous as it is now. [more...]

China's Automotive Market Deemed Existential Threat, With
Worries Washington Can't Count on EU for Help
By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for
Coalition for a Prosperous America
China's foray into the automotive industry
makes perfect sense for any serious, powerful economy. Every major economic
power has its own car brands. China has them now, in droves. Nearly every
province has one. That's the equivalent of all 50 states in the U.S. having
their own car brand, only with China, they are not selling at home; they are
also selling globally. But there is much more to it than that. China's auto
parts makers are ubiquitous in American automotive supply chains. In fact,
multinational car makers like Ford and Tesla even suggested their Chinese
partners set up shop in Mexico to avoid Section 301 tariffs. [more...]
Nick Reiner's Uphill Legal Battle
By James
Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business
Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator
In a case that has shocked the entertainment world, Nick Reiner,
son of legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner, stands accused of first-degree murder of
his father, and of his mother, Michele Reiner. With the inevitable backdrop of
the glaring Hollywood spotlight, time will tell whether Reiner's murder trial
ends up devolving into a spectacle of celebrity privilege and familial drama. Reiner,
if convicted, faces life in prison without parole. [more...]
Gun Laws and the Helpless Horror of Bondi
By John Lott,
Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime
Would even tougher gun laws have saved lives at Bondi?
Australia already has highly restrictive gun laws compared to
the U.S. Yet, many places in the U.S. are like Australia. University campuses
and many shopping malls, for example, ban guns. Where the U.S. differs from
Australia is that some of those 'gun-free zones' are near places where members
of the public (civilians) are legally permitted to carry guns. That turns out
to make important differences to how shooting attacks like the one at Bondi
turn out. Research by one of us (Crime Prevention Research Center) found that
shooters kill fewer people when an armed civilian intervenes than when they
don't. [more...]
