Uncle Sam is Ordering Americans to Submit to Islam

The Wall Street Journal reports this week about a new draft handbook for U.S. troops in Afghanistan designed to prevent their Afghan "partners" from murdering them. The problem, according to the Army, is "ignorance of, or lack of empathy for Muslim and/or Afghan cultural norms" on the part of U.S. troops. The solution, according to the Army, is for troops to accept these same Muslim and/or Afghan norms - or else be killed. In effect, then, Uncle Sam is ordering Americans to submit to Islam or die - exactly the choice offered to infidels vanquished by jihad. As far I can tell, the main difference is Uncle Sam will require them to salute while submitting. [more...]


Syrian Jihadists Get Obama’s Blessing

President Obama chose an exclusive interview with ABC News’s Barbara Walters to announce his decision that the United States now formally recognizes the recently formed umbrella coalition of Syrian rebels who are fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad. The coalition is known formally as the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. In yet another example of leading from behind, Obama’s decision follows recognition of the rebel coalition by France, Britain, Turkey, the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council. [more...]


New Signs Assad Preparing to Use Chemical Weapons

The Syrian regime’s insertion of sarin gas into aerial bombs prompted the U.S. to warn Bashar Assad of “consequences” if he uses his huge chemical weapons arsenal. Now, Assad is setting the stage to blame any attack on the rebels, reportedly even printing pamphlets accusing “terrorists” of using the weapons. And he doesn’t have much time: A senior U.S. official says the weaponized sarin gas expires in 60 days. The countdown has begun. [more...]


Palm Beach County Schools Spent Millions on Travel, Pizza, Cell Phones, Water Parks...

A lot of well-meaning people from the education world have been running around the nation in recent years, telling everyone that public schools need a lot more money. They should be forced to read a list of expenditures from the Palm Beach County school district and then explain again how schools need more operating revenue. We think they might be a bit tongue-tied. EAGnews recently completed an inspection of credit card statements and the check register for the Palm Beach County school district in fiscal year 2010-11. The exercise uncovered enough questionable spending to make an average millionaire blush. [more...]
