How the Homeless Crisis Began and How Trump is Fixing It

By Dr. Robert Marbut

As the nation's leading think tank on homelessness policy, our organization has long called for the very action President Trump's Executive Order takes - rolling back the federal government's failed, one-size-fits-all "Housing First" mandate. Despite President Obama's 2013 pledge to end homelessness within a decade, the policy has led to a 34% increase in homelessness. The Biden Administration's most recent Annual Homeless Assessment Report (12-24) shows that unsheltered, street-level homelessness is growing at a rate that would double the crisis every five to six years without urgent reform. "From the River to the Sea, NYC Will Be Free" - Mamdani's Plan

By Rabbi Daniel Schonbuch

Why Zohran Mamdani Refuses to Condemn "Globalize the Intifada" - Because He Wants to Globalize It

When Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani hears the phrase "globalize the intifada," he doesn't recoil in disgust. He doesn't rush to distance himself from a slogan that glorifies decades of terror against Jews. He doesn’t condemn it because he believes in it. To him, "globalize the intifada" isn't a dangerous threat. It's a political roadmap. It's not a phrase he's ashamed of - it's a vision he wants to see realized. Mamdani doesn't condemn the intifada because he wants to export it. What does the phrase really mean? [more...]

The Fed - Are We Debating the Right Issues?

By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

I agree with President Trump that the Fed is an institution badly in need of reform. I also agree that our objective should be to create an environment where sustainable longer-term interest rates are as low as possible. To understand how to accomplish sustainably low long-term interest rates, we first must understand what the Fed, even with its overblown powers, can and can't do. But why are we debating potential 25 basis point moves and the theoretical independence of the Fed when we should be questioning why, after two centuries of unimpeachable evidence on the failure of central planning vis-a-vis markets, we are still allowing a dozen people to override the market-based signals offered up by billions of market transactions? Especially given that the Fed sets rates that affect everything from auto sales in Alaska, to housing prices in Honolulu, to stock speculation on Wall Street. [more...]

Texas Dems Flee to One of the Most Gerrymandered States to Protest Gerrymandering

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

"In Illinois, where Trump won 43% of the vote, there are 14 Democrats and only 3 Republicans."

Running away to Illinois to escape gerrymandering is like fleeing to Chicago to escape political corruption, but that's what a bunch of Texas Dems did, breaking quorum to avoid a new congressional map less favorable to Democrats. Illinois billionaire Governor J.B. Pritzker, who appears to be nursing presidential ambitions somewhere in his belly, is milking the publicity stunt for all it's worth. Opposing gerrymandering is a noble quest, but if Texas Dems really oppose it, they'll have plenty of chances to do it in their new state. [more...]

Everyone Knows an Eagle Beats a Jaguar

By Greg Rabidoux, Award-Winning Filmmaker, Author & Cultural Commentator

...but only if it's an American Eagle versus a British Jaguar.

American Eagle gets it. They made a playful ad with a beautiful woman. The Left yelled "girlcott" while the market, the real truth diviner, boosted American Eagle stocks up to the tune of a $200 million gain. Their jeans are flying off shelves just like proud, soaring eagles. Meanwhile, the CEO of Jaguar got the boot. Their "rainbow" LGBTQ infused re-branding was a devastating disaster. They went from sales of 227,000 to 23,000. Jaguar enthusiasts and those considering buying all asked the same questions, "What in the world were they thinking?" Is this legendary automobile now only for the wokest of wokes? Do cars really care about the sexual preferences of their owners? Does Jaguar Inc. have the faintest idea of who their consumers are? Apparently not. One thing is clear -American Eagle owes no one an apology; Jaguar, on the other hand, should say sorry and shift its branding gears once again. [more...]

Communist Seduction and Zohran Mamdani

By James Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator

If America is to survive as a nation, it is important that we have a fuller understanding of the inherent dangers of communism. Our country now finds itself in the situation of having a candidate for the upcoming NYC mayoral race who has a documented track record of proudly advocating full-blown communist policies. Dem candidate for NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani has made it very clear that he wants to eliminate the free market and replace it with communism. His Big Apple starting point would be housing, with a plan to get rid of privately-owned housing and instead have government-controlled property. Under the mantle of supposed social justice, he seeks to confiscate the wealth of New York City homeowners. His policies would inevitably drive real estate development and investment out of the city.
