Tax Dollars at Work: U.N. Trashes U.S. Over ‘Violence’ Against OWS

United Nations officials are using American taxpayers’ money, which subsidizes UN operations, to put their noses into the treatment of Occupy Wall Street protesters in various cities across the United States. In a letter written to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by Frank La Rue, UN special rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression, and Maina Kiai, UN special rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association, the UN officials demanded an explanation of “the behavior of police departments that violently disbanded some Occupy protests last fall.” [more...]

Root: A.G. Eric Holder Prediction

Attorney General Eric Holder is going to soon be out of a job. Forget the contempt hearings in Congress. It's the opinion of the public that really matters to a cold-hearted, cut-throat politician like President Obama. Lifelong best friend or not, Eric Holder has become far too big of a political liability for Obama. His days are numbered. As they've said in D.C. for a century, "If you want a friend in Washington, D.C., get a dog." Obama will cut Attorney General Holder loose as soon as possible, and that means any day now. [more...]

Holder Receives Executive Privilege on Operation Fast & Furious Documents; Brian Terry Still Dead

Attorney General Eric Holder, staring down a Contempt of Congress hearing for his failure to comply with a subpoena to turn over documents related to Operation Fast & Furious, turned to President Obama to ask for Executive Privilege to protect those same documents. This morning, Obama agreed. In a statement issued by Speaker John Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck says this looks like a cover-up.... [more...]

The Egyptian Election: Who's the Winner?

Since the start of the Egyptian revolution in January 2012, which resulted in the ousting of the Mubarak regime, all eyes and ears are on the hope of establishing a new government to be elected by the Egyptian people for the first time in their history since the fall of its Monarchy over sixty years ago. This revolution resulted in the establishment of a new parliament elected by the people, followed by a new presidential election process. Both resulted in the overpowering of the Islamists who dominated almost 70% of the parliament, and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood as one of the candidates for the office of the presidency. Just as hope for a new democratic era began to rise, shocking events took place to put a dent in the process. The first round of the presidential election resulted in two top candidates: a Muslim Brotherhood member and a former Mubarak official. Both are a serious setback for a revolution that hoped for democracy. [more...]

How Romney Can Win the Presidency - This Week

Obama believes he has “checked” Romney with Latino voters with his latest announcement. He will walk on the stage in Orlando at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials conference to a thunderous hero’s welcome. He will discuss how Latino youth brought illegally to this country - through no fault of their own - will no longer have to lie awake at night fearing deportation to a strange country they no longer recognize. And he we will receive a standing ovation. Mitt Romney must walk onto that same stage and upstage Obama. This is the place and time for the announcement of the year. Mitt Romney coolly steps up to the microphone and says, “It’s time for a Latino to join a Presidential ticket. It’s time for the fastest growing group in America to have a seat at the table of power, to have a voice in the White House. Today... right here... right now... I’m going to change the game... forever. Today you get your seat at the table. Today we change American politics. Ladies and gentleman, allow me to introduce my Vice Presidential running mate United States Senator Marco Rubio." Marco walks out to embrace Mitt Romney while the crowd stands, screams, and cheers. Tears stream down cheeks. CHECKMATE. [more...]

Restoring America: What's Fair?

If you’ve lived in America any length of time, you’ve probably heard someone say that something wasn’t fair. It’s become the mantra of the self-seeking narcissistic culture we live in. No longer do people want justice or what is right; they want what is fair. And President Obama is betting the entire success of his campaign on getting voters to vote based on emotions, not logic or legality. Not to be outdone, it seems that establishment Republicans are joining the emotions parade thinking this will endear them to voters.

In my new book, No Tomorrows: How to Halt America's Imminent Collapse and Return to the American Dream – And Why it Must Start with the 2012 Elections, I analyze what the core problems are in America and how to fix them. This idea that we should base decisions on feelings shows a lack of understanding of true leadership. True leaders do not make decisions based on emotions; but politicians on both sides of the aisle would have us think it’s the right thing to do. If we do, however, are we really being fair? True leaders realize that we legislate what is right, not what is fair. Inevitably some things will be unfair. Laws are about what’s best for our society, not about what’s fair to one group versus another. [more...]

Is President Obama’s unilateral decision to allow young illegal immigrants to stay here a political move that will help him or backfire on him? What of the dueling - and harshly negative - economic speeches by the President and Governor Romney in Ohio? Why are they both so opposed to showing us their vision of how to fix the economy? Do they even have a vision? This, and much more, will be discussed by the CAMPAIGN INSIDERS - Pat Caddell, Doug Schoen and John LeBoutillier - LIVE on Fox News Channel Sunday afternoons. [more...]

Is Obama's Campaign Really on the Ropes?

When it’s early in a contest, it’s important to remember you still have a long way to go. With 5 months to go until Election Day, it’s far too early to start getting excited. Obama may be down, but he’s far from out. People are calling President Obama an amateur who doesn’t know what he’s doing. This is certainly possible and it does appear that there may be some accuracy in the description. But it is also quite possible, and fairly probable, that that is a misunderstanding of who he is. There is a strong chance that he is not in over his head, as Romney likes to say. Rather, he may very well know what he’s doing and his actions in office may all be part of a much larger plan that would result in such fundamental change to America that, if successful, would make our nation into something virtually unrecognizable to Americans of past generations and our nation’s founders. Obama Campaign’s Clooney Contest Twist: Pick-Your-Own Celebrity

After a record breaking $15 million event at the home of George Clooney, the re-election campaign of President Barack Obama has come up with a new variation to the fundraising lottery that awarded the winners a dinner with the Oscar-winning actor. For a suggested donation of $3 (or more), donors can win the opportunity to choose the next celebrity to be featured at a future meal with Obama. The winners and their guests will then be able to dine with the president and the chosen star. Obama’s pattern of campaigning with the stars has left him open to criticisms from conservatives including Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus referring to the president as the "Celebrity-in-Chief," and talk show host Rush Limbaugh labeling him as "Barack Hussein Kardashian." OPEC Meeting Could Throw Off Global Energy Markets

This Thursday the leaders of OPEC will meet in Vienna to try to stabilize global oil prices. Over the last two months we’ve seen about a 20 percent drop in oil prices. While that may be good news for Americans at the pump, there are many other factors at work here. First, OPEC wants to see consistency in oil prices. The last thing they want to see is the situation they had three years ago when the price of oil went down to about $30 per barrel. OPEC wants to see oil at $100 per barrel, which is a good number for all of them. If that doesn’t happen, things could get pretty contentious. [more...

Lessons from the Wisconsin Recall

Big Labor took a roundhouse to the chin despite the millions of dollars in member dues spent in an attempt to recall Governor Walker. Conservatives and practical-minded Americans, however, cannot become complacent with this victory. Big Labor showed how desperate it was in orchestrating the offensive recall. Big Labor thumbed its nose at the citizens of Wisconsin and America because it could not win the first election legitimately. In doing so, it resorted to its campaign of misinformation, coercion, propaganda and intimidation to bully its way to victory. Thankfully Americans are waking up and drawing a line in the sand with Big Labor and all who endorse or utilize these type tactics. Tactics which are uncalled for in modern America! [more...]

Tax Cuts, the Buffett Rule and the Election

I believe business owners tend to pay their “fair share” - the top 10% of income earners pay 71% of all federal income taxes paid. The United States, as of April 2012, has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. That means that together with personal and corporate taxes, our government is generating the highest tax base in the world. The Buffett Rule isn’t about money and rewards at all but about creating controversy and stirring up resentment between different levels of income earners. The numbers aren’t overwhelming; according to projections, the Buffett Rule would only raise $4.6 billion, which could easily be found by cutting wasteful spending. Additionally, since the Buffett rule doesn’t distinguish between classes of income, it could have a negative effect on investment. Capital gains taxes, for example, currently at 15%, would go up to 30% for high income earners who, for the most part, are capitalizing many of America’s new businesses that create new American jobs. It's Romney's Election to Lose

Last week’s devastatingly bad jobs report - especially including the downward revisions for the March and April numbers as well as the downward measurement of first quarter GDP to 1.5% - will now fundamentally alter the remaining five months of the 2012 presidential and congressional elections. President Obama is now doomed to follow in the footsteps of Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush as failed presidents who get swept out of office primarily because the economy was in a downward spiral when their re-election came about.

Soon – within weeks – Mitt Romney will begin to move ahead of President Obama in some of the public polls. And, similarly, in state polls in the dozen swing battleground states he will close the already-shrinking gap. The result will be a virtual tie inside the Electoral College before the conventions at the end of August and early September. But all the momentum now belongs to Romney. The jobs report coupled with the anti-Democrat, anti-union blowout in Wisconsin has put wind back into the GOP’s sails – and deflated Obama. [more...]

"Saved or Created" Union Jobs

President Obama is proud to say that he has either saved or created anywhere from 2-4 million new jobs. What the President doesn’t mention is that a huge chunk of those jobs were union jobs. He gave tons of stimulus dollars to the teacher’s union, police union, fire union, auto union... heck, if you just had the word union at the end of your group, you were sure to get a payout from the federal government. The problem is that the people that run their unions have run amok with waste, fraud, abuse, and corruption. It is that very abuse that keeps the wages of their workers low but union perks very high. However, it is the union leaders that time and again deliver votes to the Democratic Party. That’s why the union bosses are more than happy to receive their “fair share.” [more...]

'Dumb & Dumber': The USA vs. France

Even though it’s been proven here and abroad that you can’t succeed if you spend more money than you have, France’s new president is much like President Obama in his commitment to ideology over solutions. France’s new president, Francois Hollande, has done just that and reduced the retirement age from 62 to 60. It’ll be paid for with higher taxes. Sounds a lot like the same thing that President Obama has tried and continues to suggest to help America get back on track. For some reason many leaders think that you can get out of debt by going further into debt. That only makes sense in fairytales and dreams. [more...]

Disney Partners with Michelle Obama - Announces Junk Food Ban
By James Hirsen

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, announced new company food policies, which correspond with First Lady Michelle Obama’s public cause. Disney, the parent company of ABC, will be revising menus at its theme parks and resorts, and will also be curbing the advertising of junk food on its television and radio programs aimed at children. “With this new initiative, Disney is doing what no major media company has ever done before in the U.S. - and what I hope every company will do going forward,” Obama said in a statement. Iger is a longtime supporter and donor for Democratic candidates, having made, among other contributions, a $35,800 donation to the Obama Victory Fund 2012, according to Federal Election Commission records. 2. Richard Bernstein: Forget Vegas, We're Going to Maui
3. Ryan Mauro: U.S. Arab Spring Spending Spree
4. Wayne Allyn Root: Why Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker Will Win Big on Tuesday

Has Romney Been Underestimated?

Up until now it’s been assumed that Mitt Romney has an uphill fight in this election because President Obama will have $1 billion to spend on his campaign, plus have the news media backing him and slanting everything they can to his favor, which is easily worth at least a few hundred million dollars in advertising and probably even more. But now we learn that Mitt Romney, who outspent his competitors in the primaries by dramatic margins, may just be able to do the same against Barack Obama. Romney may have been underestimated. Forget Vegas, We're Going to Maui

Earlier this year when news broke that the GSA was planning a million dollar getaway to Las Vegas there was a huge uproar. Not only was their “retreat” lavish, but they also took eight scouting trips just to make sure that Las Vegas was the right location, all at the taxpayers' expense. After the story broke out and the administration cancelled the trip, the federal government apparently thought that Maui would be a better destination for future meetings, which is a fancy way to say “vacation." Recently, it was discovered that a group of federal judges and court employees plan to hold a convention this summer at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, a destination resort that according to their Web site encourages guests to “frolic, pamper and play.” The price tag for this expensive vacation: well over $1 million. U.S. Arab Spring Spending Spree

As the U.S. struggles with a troubled economy, burdened with a nearly $16 trillion debt, the State Department’s Special Coordinator for the Office of Middle East Transitions, William Taylor, explained on May 3rd how the U.S. is spending money to help Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. Taylor’s past statements and indications give every reason to believe that money will fall into the wallets of the Islamists and further their ambitions. Taylor said that the U.S. has already given a $100 million cash transfer to Tunisia and will provide a loan guarantee of $300 million over the summer to help the Islamist-led government balance its budget - something the U.S. isn’t even doing for itself. The U.S. will also establish an enterprise fund that will give money to the private sector. [more...]

Why Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker Will Win Big on Tuesday

My prediction: Unions will lose big and GOP Governor Scott Walker will win big this Tuesday in Wisconsin. Here's why: Government employee unions are a real threat to national security, far worse than the unproven fraud called global warming. Government employee pensions threaten our children's future. They will destroy the American Dream and wipe away our quality of life. America is doomed to follow Europe off the cliff, if we don't dramatically reform public pensions... today. [more...]
