Hyatt Hotels to Millions of Conservatives: You’re Not Welcome at Our Hotels

Last week, the Hyatt Hotels Corporation issued a statement declaring that their company would no longer be hosting “hate groups” after a well-coordinated, Soros-funded smear campaign was launched by groups such as the Muslim Advocates, MoveOn.org, the Council on American - Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), targeting their hotel chain for hosting ACT for America’s national conference at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel.

By taking this stance, the Hyatt Hotels Corporation has become complicit with the radical left’s attack on freedom of expression. By accepting the SPLC’s definition of a “hate group,” Hyatt is telling millions of Americans they are no longer welcome in their hotels.

Had Hyatt done their research, they would have found that the Southern Poverty Law Center has raised millions of dollars from attacking regular conservative organizations like the Family Research Council, PragerU, Turning Point USA, Alliance Defending Freedom, the American Conservative Union, among dozens of others.

Their decision to ban “hate groups,” in reality, is a decision to ban all freedom-loving, flag waving conservative Americans from their hotel chains. While we have come to expect this from left-wing radicals, we certainly did not expect a prominent American hotel chain to weaponize their brand and influence against the conservative voice.

The First Amendment wasn’t created to protect just leftist speech, it was created to protect ALL speech. We hope that Hyatt Hotels will reverse their decision and demonstrate that they value the democratic freedoms on which our nation was founded on instead of falling prey to the fascist tactics of the left.

ACT for America is the nation’s largest grassroots national security organization founded by Lebanese-American immigrant, Brigitte Gabriel. We currently have over one million members and have helped pass 100 bills on the state and federal level - all while maintaining relationships with dozens of sitting Members of Congress. Trade Agreement Between the U.S., Mexico and Canada

We congratulate the administration on reaching this agreement with Mexico and Canada. There are lots of improvements compared to the original trade agreement signed in 1994. We’re happy to see improved rules-of-origin provisions, and we believe the overall deal will lead to less offshoring of domestic production. I believe that improved rules of origin will benefit America’s auto industry. However, I am disappointed not to see new country-of-origin labeling (COOL) requirements for beef and pork products. While we’ll be studying the provisions regarding currency devaluation in the agreement, America still faces trade impediments due to an overvalued U.S. dollar. A continuing influx of foreign capital purchasing dollar assets consistently pushes the U.S. dollar above its competitive price. A Market Access Charge (MAC) is needed to moderate the excessive foreign capital inflows. [more...]

Democrats’ Emotional Manipulation of Abuse Survivors is Anti-Therapeutic
By Karen Kataline, Talk Radio Host & Political Commentator

In the travesty of the confirmation hearings for Judge Kavanaugh, the privacy of their star witness was breached (a serious boundary violation) and her attorneys apparently didn’t tell her that she could have given her testimony confidentially and at any location she chose. Those details made it painfully obvious that Democrats preferred, and likely planned the political theater of a public lynching. Their appalling slash-and-burn tactics have been deeply destructive to an already divided nation and their cold, indifference to that fact has been on display for all to see. [more...]

China Tries to Whitewash Aggressive Trade Practices

Last week, China’s State Council, effectively the Cabinet of the Chinese government, issued a “White Paper” on trade, to argue its case in front of the world that China is playing by the rules of free trade and the current trade dispute is all the fault of the U.S. The 71-page report said little that was new. The report had two main focuses. The first was to argue that China has been playing by the World Trade Organization (WTO) rules and is a free trader. The second was that China does not engage in intellectual property theft or forced technology transfer. [more...]

The Clinton Sexual Predator Who Made Murphy Brown Happen

The first episode of the Murphy Brown revival featured two guest stars, one who appeared on stage, Hillary Clinton, and one offstage, an old Clinton pal and accused sexual predator, Les Moonves. The only reason that the Murphy Brown revival, with its doddering cast creakily aiming cheap shots at Trump and fetid kisses at Clinton, exists is former CBS CEO and chairman, Les Moonves. It was a revival that no one asked for, but Moonves has allegedly never been shy about exposing himself to women and spending CBS cash to prop up the Clintons. Moonves approved the Murphy Brown revival in two days. [more...]

U.K.'s Healthcare Horror Stories Ought to Curb Dems' Enthusiasm for Single-Payer
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

The United Kingdom's National Health Service, which celebrated its 70th anniversary on July 5, is imploding. Vacancies for doctor and nurse positions have reached all-time highs. Patients are facing interminable waits for care as a result. Yet enthusiasm for government-run, single-payer health care continues to build in the United States. The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that 70 percent of Americans now support ‘Medicare for All.’ Virtually all the major candidates for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020 have come out in favor of banning private insurance coverage and implementing a single-payer system instead. One look across the Atlantic, to the disaster unfolding in the UK’s government-run healthcare system, ought to curb that enthusiasm. [more...]

Does Harvard Still Hate America?

Forty years ago, my first book, “Harvard Hates America,” was published. I was 25 years old, had graduated from Harvard College and was in my second year at Harvard Business School. The book caused a firestorm, more for the title than the substance. (Then, as now, few people bothered to read a book before criticizing it, or they reviewed the author more than the book itself.) The message of “Harvard Hates America” was that I encountered at Harvard a sense of inbred superiority where many people - teachers, administrators and students - thought they were smarter and therefore better than “regular” American people. These people were condescending and often demeaning in their views of traditional Main Street Americans. The thinking was, “I am so damn smart that I am here at Harvard while most Americans can’t hold a candle to my brains.” [more...]

Kerik: Obama’s Policies Still Haunt Trump

“After eight years under Obama, our guard is down," says Bernie Kerik, explaining he wrote The Grave Above the Grave to wake Americans up. "It will take years to re-build our security systems." It is a nonstop thrill ride only an insider like Kerik could write. Kerik understands the psyche of terrorists. He was not only there on 9/11, President George W. Bush dispatched him to the Middle East to serve as Interim Interior Minister of Iraq. "I believe we could suffer another 9/11 attack and The Grave Above the Grave gave me the opportunity to educate people in a fictional way about what rolls around in my head every day," Kerik says. "9/11 taught me what happens when the wrong people are allowed in this country." [more...]

The Hidden Dangers of GoFundMe on Behalf of Ford

Dem Senators have stated that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford had “nothing to gain” in stepping forward with allegations against Supreme Court Justice nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh. But there are a host of significant gains that may indeed be awaiting Ford. One has already surfaced via the GoFundMe website, which was made on behalf of Ford and has raised approximately $740,000. Law professor Jonathan Turley recently expressed concern that “crowdfunding” may be being used in a manner that enables legal testimony to be purchased. “You can buy a witness effectively by funding them as long as they’re saying the type of thing that you want them to say,” Turley cautioned. The notion that money could potentially be used to purchase testimony from favorable witnesses poses a threat to a functioning legal system and the fundamental precepts of due process. [more...]

Faulty Memories Used as Tangible Evidence

Last week, Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford, now a 51-year-old psychology professor, had no clear recollection of what happened one summer night 36 years ago until she sought out professional help to recover her memory. Ford began her effort to reconstruct her memory in 2012, at the same time Kavanaugh’s name emerged in the national news as a potential Supreme Court choice of GOP candidate Mitt Romney. Ford was a Democrat partisan and pro-abortion activist paid by a “morning after” abortifacient pill manufacturer. She might have identified Kavanaugh’s name as an ideological opponent. “Memory is a tricky thing,” explains retired University of California Irvine Professor Richard McKenzie in the Wall Street Journal. “Current scientific research,” writes McKenzie, “strongly supports deferring to long-honored legal requirements for judging the truthfulness of accusers and defenders by assessing claims with verifiable evidence. Relying solely on accusations and denials is fraught with potential error.” [more...]

On the latest edition of REVOLUTION_The Podcast... we examine how the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings are breaking American society, ripping the nation apart, turning more and more people against the political class - and may also have a huge impact on the November 6 mid-term elections. [more...]

Desperate Dems Will Destroy Anyone in their Path

How stupid do these D.C. swamp-dwellers think the American people are? Do they really expect us to believe that they, the same party that either defends or stays silent to the issue of female genital mutilation - and that almost elected Muslim Brotherhood moneyman Keith Ellison as their party Chairman - actually care about the protection of women? Sorry to disappoint you Democrats, but we’re not buying it. Regardless of what may or may not have transpired between teenagers over thirty years ago, which for some reason hadn’t been brought to light until Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination, what we essentially have is a party riddled with hypocrisy when it comes to women’s rights, demanding that the FBI investigate a “he said/she said” event, which took place before disco died. Revised U.S. Trade Agreement with South Korea

The renegotiated Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (KORUS) is a substantial improvement over the original deal. The revised agreement can help reduce large, persistent trade deficits within important sectors such as the automotive industry supply chain. For years, the U.S. automotive supply chain faced a number of non-tariff trade barriers that were carefully imposed by the government of South Korea. Whether it was obscure customs requirements, duplicative emissions testing, or burdensome labeling requirements, the net effect was to discourage access to Korea’s consumer market. The administration has wisely addressed these unjustified Korean trade barriers and has negotiated the extension of a truck tariff that will allow Americans to keep making trucks and earning good wages. Kavanaugh Obstruction is Left's Latest Attempt to Weaponize #MeToo

Once again, the Left is using unsubstantiated charges of sexual misconduct to manipulate the political landscape into one that is more to their liking. It is a testament to Judge Brett Kavanaugh's character that Democrats had to reach all the way back to his juvenile years at an all boy's school to find something they thought they could use. Don't they usually fight against the idea of minors being charged as adults even when the crime is murder? Yet, they're not ashamed of scrutinizing the alleged behavior of a 17-year-old boy if it accomplishes their political mission. [more...]

Let's End Washington's Use-It-or-Lose-It Spending Culture
By Adam Andrzejewski, Author of “Operation Drain the Swamp”

Polls taken before President Trump took office showed the public perceived that government wasted about half the money it collected. Congress and the administration can do a lot more to get our fiscal house in order. One common-sense fix that has been neglected is confronting the irrational use-it-or-lose budget practices in Washington. In the private economy, any business that spends less on overhead than budgeted is rewarded. In government, the opposite is true. Agencies that spend less than they received are punished, in their view, with lower budgets. Rather than lock in these savings, agencies engage in end-of-the-fiscal-year spending sprees. If they don’t use it, they’ll lose it. [more...]

Amazon Buys 20,000 New Delivery Vans

Amazon is taking its shipping methods to the next level and this time it means a more direct service for your consumer needs. Amazon has purchased over 20,000 new delivery vans from Mercedes Benz and plans to implement a new strategy in customer service. Instead of allowing the usual carrier services to ship your favorite Amazon purchases, the company will use their own vans to deliver your packages. Amazon consumers can now expect to see an Amazon van dropping off packages to their front door. This initiative puts Amazon in the best position to help small business owners lease vans for deliveries through Amazon at a discount rate. [more...]

Hating Men in a Real Life Handmaid’s Tale

The Handmaid’s Tale cosplay is, like so much of postmodern feminist outrage, a dystopian fantasy in search of a reality. Its imaginary universe, of the book and the show, in which men are innately predatory, validates their conviction that Brett Kavanaugh must be guilty, because he is a conservative white Christian man. And they’re all rapists. Just like the oppressors of Gilead in The Handmaid’s Tale. The Handmaid’s Tale is to postmodern feminists what Birth of a Nation was to white nationalists. Both are fantasies by which the powerful justify their oppression by imagining themselves to be powerless. Wealthy career women pretending that they’re slaves, staring at the ground as an aggressive protest, dressing up like nuns, the Amish or other members of religious communities that they despise, is a costuming that reveals the malicious hypocrisy of the lefty protesters, not of their conservative targets. [more...]

The Problem with Single-Payer? Eventually, You Run Out of Other People’s Money
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

Democrats have made a complete government takeover of the healthcare system the linchpin of their pitch to voters in this fall’s elections. Free health care is a potent rallying cry. But eventually, single-payer’s champions will run out of other people’s money. The numbers don’t lie. America can’t afford single-payer health care; and they won’t like the inevitable long waits, rationed care, higher taxes, and shortage of doctors to treat them. [more...]

What Rights Do Women Have?

The hysterical hatred and resentment against President Trump and anyone associated with him has reached a tipping point in our nation. The leftist Democrats who have stated they believe the Kavanaugh accuser without having heard a word of testimony is a bad trend in America.  Leftist women march on the capitol proud to display their victimhood, playing dress-up and whining about their lack of rights while thousands of women across the globe who are true victims of rape and torture are forgotten.

While friend of Harvey Weinstein, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and politician Mazie Keiko Hirono are lecturing us all, telling us we must believe an accuser simply because she’s a woman (which is closer to a medieval inquest or trial by ordeal than it is to common law) 3,000 Yazidi and Christian women are, to this day, in Isis captivity used as sex slaves, being raped, tortured, beaten and sold. Over half of the Christian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria are still missing. The anniversary of their captivity came and went without a peep from Michelle Obama or the many meaningless hashtag feminists crying "Bring back our girls."

According to the CDC, 513,000 girls in the U.S. live under the threat of female genital mutilation or have already undergone the procedure. Women in Iran, Saudi Arabia and many areas across the Islamic world are arrested and tortured for removing their hijab.

In my new bestselling book, Rise: In Defense of Judeo-Christian Values and Freedom, I urge Americans to fight “the leftist Islamists coalition” which promotes those who hate America, from radical Islamists such as Linda Sarsour and leftist organizations such as Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and the SPLC. They are working together to destroy and sabotage the America we believe in.  It’s time to RISE up, take back America and vote out those who ignore the rule of law.

The Feminist Cult of Victimhood

Christine Blasey Ford is the latest poster child in the feminist cult of victimhood. She achieved that status by claiming she was physically attacked at a high school party by Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh three decades ago. She immediately became the perfect useful idiot whose false memories and false allegations are being fully exploited to postpone the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh. She is the latest symbol of oppression among anti-Trump women activists. Instead of characteristics like honor, integrity and courage, feminist heroines must first and foremost be victims, real or imagined. [more...]

Killing Kavanaugh - Justice Delayed is Justice Denied
By Lowell Ponte

We now know that rape is real in the case against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. Judge Brett Kavanaugh is being raped by the Democratic Party, by its willing accomplice Christine Blasey Ford, and by its leftist comrades in the national media. Worse, the Democrats’ delaying tactics may be about to kill Kavanaugh’s nomination. Under the U.S. Senate’s arcane rules, if Republicans go along with Ford’s lawyer’s demand that she not testify before next Thursday, then the clock could run out and Kavanaugh’s nomination process will end before the vote on his confirmation a week later can be taken. This best-qualified jurist in 50 years will have been taken out by a late hit, an Alice-in-Wonderland political character assassination that gives new meaning to the old saying: “Justice delayed is justice denied.” [more...]

America is a Divided Nation Now and Calling Each Other Racists Makes It Worse

Our current divisions have poisoned our political discourse. Instead of discussing the important public policy issues that should drive our national conversation, too often we find ourselves engaged in name calling and character assassination of those with whom we may differ on policy matters. No word in our language has the ability to damage a public figure more deeply than “racist.” I know this for a personal fact. I was recently smeared as holding a “racially charged event” by an irresponsible headline writer at the Washington Post. I then watched as this smear was picked up by Florida papers, and escalated into the claim that I was actually a “racist.” This false claim was then reprinted by media all over the state. Their apparent goal was to attack Congressman Ron DeSantis by linking him to me... or rather this distorted image of me. [more...]

Dems Succeed in Delaying the Process While Rushing to Judgement

It has come to this: In order to produce the political outcome they want, Democrats are willing and in some cases advocating for an end to due process.  Along with our history, and our time-honored traditions, they are now prepared to throw out the assumption of innocence until proven guilty - one of the cornerstones of our Republic. Alan Dershowitz said this week that such a notion is dangerous and un-American. It doesn’t matter that Democrats are in the minority. It doesn’t matter that they lost an election. They are willing to smear and destroy a Supreme Court nominee and drag the country through the mud to do it.  Their selective moral outrage as everyone knows, never included Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy or more recently, Keith Ellison. Such blatant hypocrisy doesn’t matter to them either. [more...]

Bono Talks with Pope Francis

It is not easy to obtain a meeting with the Pope, but U2’s front man was somehow able to pull it off. Puzzlingly, Paul David Hewson, a/k/a Bono, lead singer of the rock group U2, was granted a meeting with the pontiff, which reportedly lasted for at least 30 minutes. At the meeting, which took place at the Casa Santa Marta hotel where Pope Francis maintains his residence, the rock singer and the Holy Father are said to have discussed topics ranging from capitalism and the environment to the clerical sex abuse scandal. Mr. President, Wage a War on Waste
By Adam Andrzejewski, Author of “Operation Drain the Swamp”

Monday, in The Wall Street Journal, we launched a two-page ad encouraging President Trump to wage a three-pronged attack against federal waste: 1. Post White House expenditures online; 2. Cut executive agency waste; and, 3. Report monthly progress to the public. As commander in chief, President Trump can lead the “War on Waste.” America is facing a spending crisis. We are asking the president to defend the American taxpayer and cut the egregious waste, fraud, and taxpayer abuse from executive agency budgets.” [more...]

No word in our language has the ability to damage a public figure more deeply than “racist.”

I know this for a personal fact. The alleged link was the fact that I had invited him to give a speech at my Restoration Weekend, an event I hold every year at The Breakers in Palm Beach. The goal of this headline and article was to defame me, hoping that my name would be unfamiliar enough that most readers would not realize how absurd the characterization was.

For the record, I am a lifelong civil rights activist. I marched in my first civil rights protest against racial discrimination in 1948 and have been fighting for equal rights for African Americans and other minorities ever since. I persuaded the Trump administration to back a $130 billion scholarship program for inner city kids. I am one of the only conservatives who spoke out in defense of Trayvon Martin and said that George Zimmerman was guilty of manslaughter.

Far from being “racially charged,” the Restoration Weekend, at which Rep. DeSantis and many other public officials, internationally prominent writers and thought leaders have spoken, reflects my dedication to diversity, inclusiveness and equality. To call it racist is pure fabrication. The Weekend has featured many African Americans as keynote speakers, including former Democratic Mayor of Washington, D.C., Business Owner Herman Cain, Adrian Fenty, Wall Street Journal editor Jason Riley, Fox Business Channel anchor Charles Payne, former Congressmen Allen West and J.C. Watts, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, radio talk show host Larry Elder, Turning Points USA activist Candace Owens, Breitbart columnist Sonnie Johnson and others.

To call the events I have hosted in West Palm Beach “racist” is ludicrous. To then imply that anyone who speaks at the event is a “racist” is fraudulent and despicable. Today, “racism” is less the description of a hateful pathology, as it was all those years ago when I first marched against segregation, than it is a weapon used to indiscriminately destroy reputations and wound those with whom we disagree. As Americans who care about preserving the fabric of our democracy, we need to reject this cynical effort to use race to divide us.

I am no racist and neither is Ron DeSantis or anyone else who attends and speaks at our events. Such a mindset would not be tolerated at any event sponsored by the David Horowitz Freedom Center. We invite you to visit our website, www.horowitzfreedomcenter.org, to learn about our mission and our work promoting freedom and liberty for all Americans.
