Is a "Two-State Solution" Our Only Hope?

Stanley Kurtz provides a likely summation of what is in store in Obama's second term. What would that be? Obama's first term. Kurtz explains: "That’s because the president’s first term hasn’t really happened yet, at least not in the conventional sense. Ordinarily, a president enacts various policies in his first term, the public test-drives the changes, and the president’s reelection campaign is a referendum on those new policies. The difference in Obama’s case is that in order to secure reelection, he has backloaded nearly all of his most transformative and controversial changes into a second term. Obama’s next term will actually put into effect health-care reform, Dodd-Frank, and a host of other highly controversial policies that are already surging through the pipeline yet still barely known to the public." Christie Says "Bigots" Attacking Him on Radical Islam

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, often described as a "rock star" in the Republican Party, has finally addressed the criticism of his courtship of Islamists. On July 24, Christie held an Iftar dinner at the Governor's Mansion, attended by Imam Mohammad Qatanani, a Hamas-linked cleric whose deportation is sought by the Department of Homeland Security. Christie reiterated his support for Qatanani and made the case to his Muslim audience that he is their ally by ridiculing the "bigots" attacking him. Christie opens by talking about the attacks on "our relationship" (between him and, as he would characterize it, the Muslim community of N.J.) that show a "gaze of intolerance that's going around our country that is disturbing."  [more...]

House Speaker John Boehner Already Offering Obama Higher Taxes

Speaker of the House John Boehner didn’t even make it 24 hours past the election before making offers to give in to President Obama on higher taxes. Anyone thinking that the House of Representatives under his leadership has any chance of holding the line for Republicans until the 2014 midterm elections is dreaming. America is now in a very dark place and those of us who hold to traditional values and want to see America shine again will have to be diligent and fight hard to keep people like John Boehner from giving away what little negotiating ability we have left. If the Republican Party is to survive, it must give up the ways of establishment Republicans or be replaced with a new, more vibrant and effective party with solid values and strong leadership. 2. Wayne Allyn Root: The Obama Farewell Tour
3. Kyle Olson: Teacher Union Political Clout Will be tested with Ballot Proposals throughout the Nation
4. Diana West: More Details on Benghazi

Big Labor's Election Intimidation Factor

Across the country, people have been speaking out against union election intimidation, including both union and non-union employees who are outraged by Big Labor’s attempt to steal the election for its last hope of survival, President Barack Obama. The materials being used by labor unions are an outrage, and if an employer utilized any of these methods towards their employees, they would be crucified by the mainstream media! Yet none of these ruthless, bullying tactics have been explored by the mainstream media. Either the media agencies are philosophically in sync with Big Labor, or they are terrified that Big Labor will attempt to eliminate the media outlet’s revenue source by bullying its advertisers. The Obama Farewell Tour

The Romney landslide I predicted back on May 30th, and in the media virtually every day since then, is materializing. The signs are everywhere that Obama is enjoying his farewell tour. These are the last days of his political career. Read on and experience the signs of the huge defeat coming today. Protected by the biased liberal mainstream media and polls overpopulated with Democrats (based on the 2008 election turnout), most Americans haven’t a clue of the trouncing Obama is about to experience. As a matter of fact, I’ve been a guest on several liberal talk shows of late where they actually think Obama’s reelection is a lock. They see a light at the end of the tunnel, but they have no clue it’s a train bearing down on them. Tonight will be a very long and sad night for Democrats. [more...]

Teacher Union Political Clout Will be tested with Ballot Proposals throughout the Nation

By the time the election dust clears on Wednesday morning, we should have a better idea of how much clout teachers unions have with the public these days. Education reform and school funding debates have been raging in states and communities throughout the nation, and voters will be asked to solve many of those disputes at the polls tomorrow. The issues range from acceptance or rejection of sweeping education reforms, proposed tax increases to finance public schools, the future of collective bargaining privileges for teachers unions, the existence of charter schools, the ability of one state to forcibly manage failing schools, and the ability of citizens to control runaway public employee pension costs. More Details on Benghazi

On September 17, Reuters ran a story headlined: "Intel agencies warned U.S. Embassy in Egypt of possible violence." That's nice. So why didn't "intel agencies" warn the US Embassy in Libya of possible violence, too? Presumably because the "intel agences" -- Petraeus' CIA, no doubt -- were focused on a "video threat" in Egypt, not in Libya, and on September 10 they cabled the embassy in Egypt accordingly. Egypt was indeed jump-starting another Islamic rage cycle from a Youtube video clip, "Innocence of Muslims," whose producer, incredibly, remains in jail on "parole violations." But, conveniently forgotten amid the many administration statements that there was no forewarning of an attack in Libya, AQ leader Ayman al-Zawaheri uploaded a video of his own on September 9 and 10 calling for Libyans to attack the U.S. to avenge the U.S. killing of a senior AQ leader from Libya, Yahya al-Libi. This video apparently went ignored by these same "intel agencies." [more...]

The Final Indictment of Barack Obama

Mitt Romney is a gentleman who gives millions to charity. A man of faith, he served as a pastor at his church. Mitt loves this country. Being a nice guy is a great thing in life, but a disadvantage in politics. So, I’m going to say what Mitt is too nice to say. As we approach Election Day 2012, let me lay out the final "Indictment of Barack Obama." It’s too late to play nice, to not tell the raw, unvarnished truth. If we don’t tell the truth (and fast), we are going to lose America, capitalism, and our children’s future. The truth is Obama is destroying the American dream. [more...]

And the Winner is... Or is There Something More Important Right Now?

Many a pundit have said that by now most people have made up their minds on who they are going to vote for and persuading anybody now is really impossible. But I beg to differ. One thing I’ve learned in my 38+ year career in business is that no sale is complete until the customer has paid their money, signed the contract, and actually made the purchase. Until someone votes, the sale is not complete. So all those people left out there who still haven’t made their “buying decision” - until they do, there’s still a chance to change their mind. Benghazi Lies May Determine Election

Several weeks ago I reported that the Obama administration had dug itself into a minefield of lies about the Benghazi terrorist attack that the president would have to cross to get to Election Day. Whether he will do so unscathed remains unclear, but if Barack Obama is re-elected president tomorrow, it will be for one reason only. It will be because the U.S. media threw themselves on every Benghazi bombshell that threatened the president, shutting down democracy in the process. [more...]

Tight Presidential Race Pushes Celebrities over the Edge

Tensions are running high in Hollywood as polls continue to indicate that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is gaining in states that were formerly in support of President Barack Obama but are now considered toss-up states. Numerous celebrities appear to be coming unhinged as a result. They have been expressing their frustration via remarks and PSA videos, which are intended to assist the president in his reelection effort. [more...]

Your Vote: The Final Poll

As Election Day approaches, we must learn from our choices of the past. The 2008 Candidate Barack Obama promised us more than "hope" and "change;" he vowed to restore America. Unfortunately, words cannot restore America; it also takes leadership and action. Let’s take a look at the first four years of the Obama Presidency: Obamanomics cost the taxpayers billions in stimulus and bailout out dollars yet led us to the highest unemployment in years. The administration’s spending has sent our deficit into the trillions and punctured our debt ceiling time and again, indebting our country for generations. [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Root's Election Prediction: Most Accurate in the Nation

My prediction - a Romney landslide - might be of interest to your audience. It was made at a time when Obama led in EVERY poll in the country. My exact prediction was Romney by 5 to 7 points and 100 to 120 electoral votes. The latest "Battleground Poll" shows this EXACT number that I predicted (5 point Romney victory) as the likely outcome of the election. [more...]

An Ode to the Role of Big Government

In the wake of hurricane Sandy, a vision of the federal government as our savior has emerged.  This romanticized vision of the benefits of an ever expanding government taking control to affect everything from our waistlines, to breast feeding, to mandatory vaccinations, to how we live and die needs to be considered. What price are we paying to allow the government to extend far beyond its role of protecting us from enemies by descending into a nanny state? For some, the sight of people standing in lines for hours for gasoline or those huddled in their homes with limited or no supplies of food and water provide an answer to this question. For them, dependence on the government has led to potentially tragic vulnerability. We as a people have voluntarily ceded our individual authority and responsibility to a system that is designed to treat us as a collective group of children who are incapable of making decisions for the good of ourselves and of our families. Defects, Lies & Videotape

President Obama, his administration and his campaign have done everything they can to deflect attention from the Benghazi attacks, lie about it, and cover it up to keep it out of the public eye so that he can get reelected. But even if he’s reelected, that won’t be the end of it. Deflects, lies, and videotape are the very issues that could not only stop Obama’s reelection; they could bring down his presidency even if he is reelected. If the American people ever understand what has been happening, it will be a scandal so large that it will drive Obama from office much the same way that Nixon was forced out by Watergate. [more...]

Did Iran Have a Hand in Benghazi?

There have been a slew of breaking reports concerning what might have drawn the late Ambassador Christopher Stevens to Benghazi on September 10 and 11. The different strands of this developing story indicate that Stevens may have been there to oversee or inspect an ongoing covert CIA operation to supply weapons and men to the jihadist-dominated "rebels" fighting Syria's Assad. Stevens' last meeting, after all, was with Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin. Turkey, of course, with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, is a leading supporter of the "rebels" fighting to overthrow Assad. But there may be a deeper, more secret layer of dirt to unearth. [more...]

Alabama Democrats Dangle Big Teacher Raise Proposal One Week before Election

There’s pandering for votes, and then there’s corruption. Craig Ford, the Democratic Minority Leader of the Alabama House of Representatives, has both down to perfection. One week before Election Day, he announced plans to introduce a bill giving all government school teachers a 10 percent raise over two years. “The cost of living for educators, retirees and state employees has increased by 10 percent since their last pay increase. But this pay increase will also help recruit quality teachers and be a boost for the statewide economy,” Ford was quoted. [more...]

Hollywood Gives Money to Obama 16:1 over Romney

Hollywood celebrities are not only assisting with ads and appearances like actress Eva Longoria and rocker Bruce Springsteen do, but reaching into their wallets and donating to the Obama campaign in overwhelming numbers when compared to Romney campaign donations.

The sheer number of Hollywood donors has become large enough that The Center for Responsive Politics (CRP) now includes “celebrity” lists where the famous who give to a respective campaign are set forth. Entertainers, athletes, authors and others are included on this political “A-list” based on paperwork that is filed with the Federal Election Commission.

“It’s [the celebrity list] new for us,” CRP spokesperson Russ Choma told Reuters. “We started it a couple of weeks ago, mostly out of demand, but also because there are so many people on it.” [more...]

1. Wayne Allyn Root: Small Businessman to Obama: LIAR!
2. Steve Gill: Will High Gas Prices "Fuel" a Romney Victory?
3. Carl Schramm: An Election about the Economy Will Really Be About Entrepreneurs
4. Diana West: Obama's Jihad Alliance

Small Businessman to Obama: LIAR!

Congressman Joe Wilson got carried away and called President Obama a liar during a State of the Union address a few years back. While I would personally never interrupt a major speech by Obama (or any other politician), it is time to admit that Congressman Wilson was right. Obama is a liar. He can’t help himself. He’s a lawyer. It’s in his makeup. How do you know a lawyer is lying? His lips are moving in front of a jury. In a moment I'll describe how Obama has created a "Hostile Work Environment" for small businesses. But first let's look at a variety of Obama's "misinformation episodes." [more...]

Will High Gas Prices "Fuel" a Romney Victory?

The average price of a gallon of unleaded gasoline the day President Barack Obama was inaugurated into office in January 2009 was $1.84. Since May, I have been trumpeting this fact at gas price rollback events all over the country with a giant red gas can known as “Gas Can Man” as the centerpiece of over 25 events in battleground states from Florida to Nevada, from Colorado to Virginia... and, of course, Ohio.

In recent weeks, the “Pain in the Gas” tour has begun to attract national attention as others have started using the $1.84 price as a call for action. Now the Obama team is dealing with an increasingly difficult policy issue in the waning weeks of the campaign.

Compounding Obama’s claim that he is for expanded drilling and exploration is the fact that his own Interior Secretary Ken Salazar recently banned oil drilling in HALF the 23 million acre territory set aside in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska where drilling is supposed to occur.
As Gas Can Man continues to “drive” the issue of high gas prices in battleground states across the country, I can talk about the direct connection between energy and votes... particularly as our dependence on Middle East oil becomes an increasingly volatile national security issue as well. An Election about the Economy Will Really Be About Entrepreneurs

For the first time in our history entrepreneurs are becoming part of the political furniture. Speakers at both the Republican and Democratic conventions mentioned small businesses, firms with fewer than 500 employees, endlessly - actually 106 times.

Small business is an expected mainstay of convention rhetoric. But, the debut of entrepreneurs as the people who form our new firms is critical because they were, accurately, described as the people who take risks and create, according to the Kauffman Foundation, over sixty percent of all new jobs in our economy.

Starting more new firms is not only the best path to resolving the recession; they are the principal source of wealth for America's future. In fact, Republican speakers described the role they play in the economy 13 times while Democrats did 9 times. Joseph Schumpeter would be smiling that the little guys, the entrepreneurs, the people who challenge the incumbent firms with their upstart startups, the causers of all the "creative destruction" that drive government regulators crazy, the new companies that seem to relish what he called the "gales" of competition that big companies fear, are somehow beginning to be seen as the champions they are. Karen Mills, head of the Small Business Administration, said "America's entrepreneurs are our greatest asset" during her speech to the Democratic convention. [more...]

Obama's Jihad Alliance

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a column addressing the national scandal that investigation into the security failures and lies surrounding 'Benghazi-gate' must also expose. This even larger scandal concerns the fact that throughout the revolutionary cycle known as Arab Spring, the Obama administration threw in Uncle Sam’s lot with the bad guys - the “rebels,” the “martyrs,” the Muslim Brothers, the whole jihad-happy and Sharia-ruling crew in Libya and the wider Middle East. In so doing, Uncle Sam, more or less, crossed to the "other side." [more...]

2. Ryan Mauro: The Unlikely and Dangerous Shi'ite-Sunni Terror Partnership
3. Al Fadi: Why the Demise of Al-Qaeda is Wishful Thinking

Busted on Benghazi – The White House Caught in Their Lies

The White House is living up to their false claim of transparency and the Benghazi 9/11 attack is their latest cover-up. The American people need to demand the truth and recognize that this is an example of how untrustworthy President Obama really is. Over and over again the administration tried to tie the attack to a video that was claimed to have insulted Muslims. The shameless arrogance of this White House to not only keep the truth from the American people, but to try to falsely blame someone else for the disaster is unconscionable. When Americans are voting in two weeks they need to remember just how untrustworthy this president has proven himself to be. [more...]

The Unlikely and Dangerous Shi'ite-Sunni Terror Partnership

On October 18, The Obama Administration again confirmed that the Shi'ite Iranian regime is working with the Sunni-Salafist Al-Qaeda terrorist group when the Treasury Department blacklisted two Al-Qaeda leaders operating in Iran. In July 2011, the administration revealed that Iran had struck a “secret deal” with Al-Qaeda, blowing apart the myth that the hostility between Sunni and Shi'ite Islamists precludes them from helping each other fight a common enemy. [more...]

Why the Demise of Al-Qaeda is Wishful Thinking

Since the 9/11 attack, Al-Qaeda - the terrorist organization behind the attack - has been under the global radar. Military retaliation operations were launched against them by U.S. troops and their allies. Progress to eliminate the group was on target, proven by the assassination of two of their most prominent and influential leaders: Bin Laden in Pakistan, followed by Al-Awlaqi, the leader of AQAP in Yemen. The call for celebration was on the rise since Al-Qaeda was seemingly on the demise. After all, how can they survive after the fall of their leaders and other operatives by the precision and might of the SEAL teams and the DRONE attacks? However, despite all of this, and in the wake of the deaths of thousands of U.S. soldiers in military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq which stemmed from the 9/11 attack by Al-Qaeda, recent reports indicate that Al-Qaeda remains healthy and resilient. The Left Will Use Foreign Poll Observers to Fight an Obama Defeat

The presidential election has the Left in panic mode. In addition to preparing brigades of lawyers to challenge every alleged irregularity and try to reverse the voters' verdict in court if need be, the Obama administration and its leftwing boosters are looking to an international cavalry of "election observers" to save them.
