following “patents by inventor Anthony S. Fauci” involving a glycoprotein found
in the HIV-1, a disease that attacks the human immune system, leading to the
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, more commonly known as AIDS. In
1990, Fauci held the same position at the NIH that he holds today. Fauci made

But in fact, the President's inherently optimistic manner (he has always been this way) when it comes to America's future, is perfect for the moment. In these dark and trying times, this President has attempted to remind people of sunnier days - both past and future. We see this in his assertions that he built the greatest economy before, and he will do it again.
This type of assurance/confidence/hopefulness was a trait of someone that Trump can be rightfully compared to - Sir Winston Churchill. In England and the world's darkest hours, Churchill consistently offered brightness, encouragement and calmness.
This was never to 'downplay' the threat or a symbol that neither Churchill nor Trump failed to grasp the gravity of it - but that they chose to be sanguine about their nation, displaying a confidence and positivity that lifted their people and enabled the nation to be victorious.
In Trump and Churchill (with a foreword by Newt Gingrich), Adams explains what the eloquent, quotable war-time Prime Minister of England and the brash, Twitter happy U.S. President have in common - both rescued Western civilization from the brink with their unorthodox approaches to domestic and international relations.

Many stores rely on a foreign supply chain that is beginning to see the effects of new safety regulations and export bans. Celebrities Show Love for WHO, Disrespect for U.S.

Too many celebrities continue to display an utter lack of awareness or understanding about the geopolitical realities of our times. This was recently driven home when many of the rich and famous lent their names and talents to the unworthy cause of raising funds for the World Health Organization (W.H.O.). A virtual concert took place this past weekend, which was promoted as a “One World” event. It was designed to benefit the W.H.O., a global entity that is deeply enmeshed in controversy. Funds in excess of $128 million were raised, according to a press release from the organizers. The timing of the concert was more than unfortunate for our nation. U.S. Elites Can Correct Mistakes on China

Our past leaders, going all the way up to the office of the President, have failed to check China’s brutish rise. With the mounting number of lies from the People’s Republic of China about them being ground zero for the current pandemic, those failures and how to correct them, is the biggest question facing our country when we rebound from this outbreak. What makes this situation complicated is grappling with how our leaders weren’t merely silent during China’s emergence, they actually rubber-stamped it. Democrats Weaponize Dr. Fauci

Dr. Fauci's single focus, as long-time director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is to stop the COVID-19 virus from killing anyone. Forcing people into "house arrest" in their own homes does this. Trouble is, it saves lives at the price of livelihoods. Consumer spending is 70 percent of America's GDP, but consumers are not out spending much. If this continues, by early June as much as 30 percent of America's small businesses will be forced to shut down - in many cases, forever. The Democrats' Twisted Approach to the Virus

In the war against the Wuhan virus, Democrats have had a laser focus. But it’s not on the virus. It’s on Trump. Their blame Trump attitude was crystallized in a breathtakingly nasty and preposterous statement by Democrat Senator Chris Murphy who said: “The reason that we're in the crisis that we are today is not because of anything that China did. It’s not because of anything the World Health Organization did. It’s because of what this president did.”
Given the right parameters, it would be possible to take a critical view of everyone involved in the fight and making decisions affecting it, including Trump and his Democrat scientific advisers Fauci and Birx. The one thing we have learned since the virus hit America’s shores is that everyone was wrong at some point and had to reverse themselves at another. This includes not only the nation’s political leaders, but the scientific experts who were essential elements of the anti-viral battle, and who produced models based on erroneous assumptions that resulted in costly mis-readings of the crisis. But most fair-minded observers, not driven by ulterior political motives would agree that Americans were well served by dedicated public servants and first responders who devoted themselves to the protection of the nation.
Not so Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff and Chris Murphy or their partisan media enablers. Whenever Trump has made a decision or drawn a conclusion, these Democrats are primed to pounce. [more...]

More than the virus threatens us
In this spring season, America’s future is fraught with uncertainties as a result of the pandemic unleashed by Communist China’s malicious concealment of a virus it had apparently developed in a Wuhan laboratory. Will the nation be able to "re-open" as the president desires, or will it descend into a long-lasting depression with millions unemployed?
At the same time, a much greater uncertainty haunts the horizon. This uncertainty is a product of the ferocious hate for the president and his supporters ginned up by the political Left ever since the 2016 election. The anti-Trump fervor is so intense it has divided the nation into two alien camps until there is hardly any longer a national conversation, or a united front in the face of the deadly contagion.
For anyone not in thrall to anti-Trump obsessions, the spectacle of Trump hatred is mystifying, even unfathomable. It’s not that the criticisms of Trump are harsh – that is the currency of democratic politics. The problem is that they are not merely harsh but veer on the lunatic until communication with those who voice them seems impossible. It is why the national conversation and a semblance of national unity in the face of threats seem almost hopeless. [more...]
