A Critical Event in the War to Save the Republic

By Colonel (Retired) John Mills, Author of The Nation Will Follow

Judge Terry A. Doughty's decision on July 4th has changed the course of the war

His decision in short has turned off the regular coordination between the Federal Government and social media. This regular interaction started in the late 2000's. At the time it seemed like a good idea. I was one of the key figures in establishing the original relationship. It was supposed to help government leverage the innovation of Silicon Valley and find mutual synergies. It has gone off the rails and become the foundation of mass surveillance and censorship. There is no basis in law for these actions. [more...]

How Gun-Hating Media Use Slanted Surveys to Manipulate Public Opinion

By John Lott

Organizations such as NPR and PBS spend our tax dollars on surveys that paint gun control in the best possible light.

Gun control advocates often point to polls showing overwhelming support for gun control. For instance, in May, a headline for an NPR/PBS Newshour survey proclaimed: "Most Americans say curbing gun violence is more important than gun rights." But is that really the choice Americans face on gun control? [more...]

Senate Takes Turn to End China Profiting Off of U.S. Federal Pensions

By Kenneth Rapoza

Last week, House Republican leadership opted not to include an amendment that would have banned China securities from the retirement funds offered to federal government employees and the military. The amendment was put forth by Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which passed last week. Elsewhere in Florida, however, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has brought up the issue again for the Senate version of the NDAA. [more...]

As VP, Joe Biden Took Part in Burisma Calls

By Daniel Greenfield

Devon Archer was Hunter Biden’s go-to-guy, his pal and partner, who was always there in the room. His testimony is expected to be big and massively devastating because it establishes that Joe Biden lied. That's usually been the strategy, but unlike introducing their partners to Joe Biden, something Hunter and James Biden both allegedly did, having him sit on a phone call with his son's business partners only cuts one way. This isn't a fundraiser or a party; Joe Biden was knowingly providing the perception that Hunter’s business deals with Burisma had cover at the White House. Furthermore, Joe Biden’s intervention to get a prosecutor investigating Burisma fired shows he delivered. [more...]

Country Star Challenges America's Culture of Crime

By Mark Tapson

And pro-crime "progressives" explode in rage.

For decades, 'gangsta' rappers have raked in money, fame, and recording industry awards hand-over-fist by promoting a culture of violence, drugs, crime, misogyny, hedonism, and greed. There has been not a peep of an objection from the Progressive Left to the damage this has done and continues to do to generations of young people, especially in poor inner-city communities, where rappers, gang members, and drug dealers are idolized and emulated by far too many. But let one country music star complain that American cities have degenerated into a wasteland of lawlessness and chaos, and triggered leftists leap to smear him publicly as a violent racist. Retired FBI Senior Official McGonigal was Central in the Spying on Trump

By Colonel (Retired) John Mills

Retired FBI Senior Official Charles McGonigal was central in the spying on Trump with his position as former head of Counterintelligence in the New York Field Office. McGonigal was the central FBI official in the middle of the now disgraced and debunked "Russia, Russia, Russia" fraud and is facing multiple felony charges for money laundering, making false statements, and violating sanctions. The Durham Report also detailed five criminal referrals, three of which trace to information provided by me. [more...]

Guns Are Not the Leading Cause of Children's Deaths

By John Lott

A favorite talking point from the Biden White House is that guns are the leading cause of children's deaths. The problem is that it is false. "The number one cause of death of the children in America is gun violence," Vice President Kamala Harris claimed on June 2. The White House tweeted, "Guns are the #1 KILLER of CHILDREN," Biden has made the same claim multiple times this year. Even if we are counting 17-year-old gang members as "children," the White House's claim is incorrect. In 2019 and 2020, more minors died from suffocation. [more...]

Government Pension Fund Managers Invested in China Fail to Preserve Retirement Savings

By Kenneth Rapoza

Should the U.S. government remove China stocks from its pension funds? The House just rejected an amendment to do just that in the National Defense Authorization Act, but there is a chance the Senate, led by Marco Rubio, will include such a move. Wall Street and pension fund managers in general believe it is their fiduciary duty to invest in the world's number two economy. But here is what happened to that money invested in China, both mainland and Hong Kong shares, as well as three companies and three major sectors of the global economy - including Alibaba, China's Amazon, and Geely's, which owns the Tesla rival Polestar. How are those China stocks doing for you? Here's a closer look... [more...]

The Right Way to Remember Jesse Jackson

By Daniel Greenfield

Kamala Harris flew out to honor racist leader Jesse Jackson by claiming that “he defined the rainbow!” Jesse didn't define the rainbow, but he did threaten to castrate Obama on live television. Biden issued a statement praising the racist whose presidential campaign was sabotaged when he used an antisemitic slur. More accurately, Jesse Jackson was a bigot who stood with bigots like Louis Farrakhan. Here are some highlights about the hateful reverend from Discover the Networks... who was also a compulsive liar. [more...]

The NEA's Recommended Summer Reading is All About Social Justice

By Mark Tapson

The classics are out, "Gender Queer" is in.

The ranks of today's educators are overwhelmingly dominated by race-and-gender ideologues who are passionate not about passing down to the next generation the West's glorious legacy of "the best that has been thought and said," but about churning out a generation of students completely disconnected from that legacy and indoctrinated into social justice activism. (And not just in university classrooms; the rot has filtered all the way down now to pre-k.) Toward that end, educators aren't spending their summer vacation refamiliarizing themselves with the ideas of Isaac Newton or the poetry of Chaucer or the dramatic storytelling of the ancient Greeks. Instead, they're wading in the shallows of contemporary pop culture, soaking up the distorted worldview of critical theory, and immersing themselves in radical pedagogy that will not open young minds but shut them tight. Black Grievances and White Guilt

By Michael Brandow

We hear it every day in the news - they want reparations, America is systematically racist - you name it. Here's the answer to all those characterizations that plague America: What's the Problem Now? Black Grievances and White Guilt is a new satirical book by social commentator, Michael Brandow, a modern-day combination of Joan Rivers and Lenny Bruce. It is an 'old white guy's' witty and insightful account of his struggle to survive in New York City without becoming an actual racist. He says right out loud what the rest of us are thinking. Federal Action to Reduce Violence Should Focus on Mental Health

By Tim Murphy, Author of The Christ Cure

Those who need help most face the greatest difficulty in getting treatment.

While the students in Parkland plan their actions to get legislative attention, Congress is still wrestling with what to do. Gun-access restrictions, security measures, and arming teachers are all on the table. We've seen this before: lawmakers focusing more on what is in someone's hands than on what is in his mind. The president has rightly said this is partly a mental-health issue that must be addressed. If lawmakers want to make a difference and not just a law, they will act on the understanding that improving mental-health treatment rather than gun laws is the most cost-effective way to save lives. [more...]

Government Incentives for Niche Sectors of Economy Leads to "Manufacturing Boom"

By Kenneth Rapoza

There is a "manufacturing boom" taking place in the U.S., if you had not noticed, and it is mostly due to incentives for solar and new energy technologies like EV batteries in the Inflation Reduction Act, and semiconductors in the CHIPS Act, the Wall Street Journal says. On June 26, the Commerce Department reported May construction spending figures, with overall spending rising a seasonally adjusted 0.9% from a month earlier. An important piece of that was spending on the construction of manufacturing facilities. This was up 1% in May from April, or 76.3% from a year earlier, the WSJ reported. [more...]

What is NATO Actually For?

By Daniel Greenfield

Governments, once created, are all but impossible to uncreate even if no one can precisely define what they're for. Take NATO. During the Cold War, its purpose was fairly obvious; after the Cold War it doesn't really have one. Ukraine's request to join NATO is helpfully clarifying in that sense. Having Ukraine join NATO would pretty clearly define its mission as countering Russia. But then again that's why countries like Poland wanted to be part of NATO to begin with. Eastern Europe doesn't especially like Western Europe, but the latter has useful markets and an even more useful military to keep the Russians from reclaiming their empire. [more...]

GOP Notches a Victory Battle for Healthcare

By Sally Pipes

Any time lawmakers can introduce greater choice and dynamism into the health insurance market, patients benefit. The CHOICE Arrangement Act, which passed the House last month, is a perfect example. The bill would codify the so-called "individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements," or ICHRAs, established through executive order by President Trump in 2019. ICHRAs allow employers to offer their workers tax-free cash to help pay for coverage on the individual market. As such, they represent a more personalized and portable alternative to employer-sponsored health insurance - something many Americans would gladly welcome. [more...]

My Latest Interview with President Trump

By Wayne Allyn Root, Author of The Great Patriot BUY-cott Book

I’m proud and honored to call President Donald J. Trump a friend. And even more proud that I just had an exclusive interview with the 45th president of the United States. Here are the highlights. I started the interview with a revelation. The man is the most popular human being on planet Earth. I'm a witness. In our interview, Trump took the gloves off. "Joe Biden is a stone-cold crook... common thief... low life... and a stupid person. Biden and his people are bad people. Not just incompetent... bad people. Who would want an open border? They know what they're doing." [Read on...]

LGBTQ+ Catholics?

By Pastor Lucas Miles, Author of WOKE JESUS: The False Messiah Destroying Christianity

With the news of the Vatican suggesting a level of acceptance of LGBTQ+ that Pope Francis ushered in a decade ago with his famous "Who am I to judge?" comment, I say while the Vatican hasn't come out directly and changed its position on the inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals, the new study does seem to mark the beginning of a progressive drift in that direction. What is probably most interesting is, for the first time, we are starting to see language like 'LGBTQ+ Catholics,' rather than Catholics who are struggling with sexuality, gender dysphoria, or homosexual tendencies. This is a marked shift in language that I think every Catholic, and for that matter, Christian, should be very cautious of and keep a close eye on the Vatican in order to see how they are going to move forward. [more...]

Can Dems Even Believe What They are Claiming About Guns?

By John Lott

You have to wonder if Democrats know anything about the gun control laws they vote on. That is on something as simple as the recent votes on pistol-stabilizing braces. Under new rules from the Biden administration, gun owners possessing pistol-stabilizing braces must now remove the brace, register it and pay a fee, or forfeit or destroy it. Stabilizing braces were originally designed to allow veterans with hand disabilities to hold handguns, not for mass shooters to commit a crime more effectively. The braces are straps that allow the disabled person to keep hold of the gun when it recoils. Without a gun and a steady aim, disabled people are very vulnerable to criminals. But Democrats will never mention that. [more...]

Prosecute Hunter, Impeach Biden with Justice Not Vengeance

By Judd Dunning

The Hunter Biden laptop saga is a low point in America’s moral and legal history. With the Biden family dirty laundry drying on the global clothesline, no doubt remains for those choosing awareness. Biden is a broken, malleable, power-hungry, lacking-in-judgment father. This all adds up to him being a far from effective president. Hunter's laptop shows the Biden family's hunger for power and control far beyond the presidency. Thus, Congress must impeach Biden to quickly remove this flawed, disconnected, elitist, addled, self-appointed national grandfather. President Biden's explicit involvement in his family's sleazy matters reflects a man lacking the merit, honor, and standard of his office. [more...]

Are Americans Investing in Chinese Forced Labor Companies?

By Kenneth Rapoza

The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party released their interim report on allegations of false labor along the apparel supply chain of two Chinese fast-fashion companies – Shein and Temu, owned by Pinduoduo, which is owned by PDD Holdings, a Nasdaq company. It has long been alleged that Chinese apparel makers source cotton from Xinjiang, the East China province subject to import bans under the Uyghur Forced Labor Law. The reasoning behind the law was that no American consumer should be buying goods made by people forced to work, or not paid to work. And no American companies should be sourcing from there. But Shein and Temu are Chinese. They’re not like The Gap, which has been switching its clothing suppliers to Central America to avoid issues of forced labor. [more...]

Total Weaponization of Government and the Obama Legacy

By Daniel Greenfield

What is Obama's true legacy? One of its core characteristics was the total militarization and weaponization of the federal government. The Biden administration exemplifies the next phase of this. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said Monday that his department is going on the offensive on gay and transgender rights. Didn't it occur to anyone involved that HHS shouldn’t be run as an activist organization or that the entire federal government shouldn’t be Planned Parenthood or HRC? As bad as the Clintons were, they never considered this level of total warfare. From Obama onward, it’s become routine. When Becerra speaks of going on the offense, he’s not speaking as a private citizen or as an official in a private capacity, but as a government official using his department to wage war on political opponents. From Russiagate to Xavier’s latest threats, the federal government is just a weapon that leftists use against Americans. [more...]

AI and the Song

By James Hirsen

Music is a universal language like no other. When words seem inadequate, it speaks volumes. So where does music come from? We may differ in our opinions on that. But a lot of us believe that inspiration, in music as in various other art forms, literary writings, discoveries, inventions, and the like, has an otherworldly origin. Musical inspiration is particularly unique, though, because of its biblical roots and its distinct resonance within human beings across all time. Artists who are driven to share their musical inspirations are currently facing some questions that are seriously haunting ones. For instance, can technology really create the equivalent of human music? [more...]

It's Time for Congress to Subpoena CEOs of MSM on their Cover-Up of Biden's Crimes

By Wayne Allyn Root, Author of The Great Patriot BUY-cott Book

The mainstream media refused to cover Hunter Biden's laptop during the 2020 campaign. They still to this day refuse to talk about the shocking sexual and criminal contents of his laptop that would topple the Biden presidency. They refuse to cover Joe Biden's criminal activity as Vice President. They refuse the cover the crimes of the entire Biden crime family. These cover-ups by the mainstream media literally changed the outcome of elections, changed the power structure of our country, changed our lives, cost the lives of thousands of Americans, and have changed our children's future. This is the perfect moment for the GOP Congress to act. [more...]

Barack Obama's True Legacy

By Jamie Glazov, Editor of Barack Obama's True Legacy

Barack Obama's disastrous presidency ended on January 20, 2017. But Americans are still suffering from its devastating effects. In fact, Obama's legacy is more powerful – and more damaging – than ever. My new book details what the Durham Report has now confirmed: that Former President Obama was the real "big guy" behind the Democrats' "Russia collusion" hoax and the FBI's fraudulent and destructive war against President Trump. What's more, Barack Obama's True Legacy proves the Durham Report is just the latest indication that the damage Obama inflicted as president lives on long after his tenure ended. [more...]

LGBTQ+ Catholics? By Pastor Lucas Miles

By Pastor Lucas Miles

With the news of the Vatican suggesting a level of acceptance of LGBTQ+ that Pope Francis ushered in a decade ago with his famous "Who am I to judge?" comment, Pastor Lucas Miles, a trusted voice in the American church who has consistently addressed some of the most challenging topics in religion, says, "While the Vatican hasn't come out directly and changed its position on the inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals, the new study does seem to mark the beginning of a progressive drift in that direction." He has released a provocative new book, WOKE JESUS: The False Messiah Destroying Christianity,

How President Trump Can Team with RFK Jr. to Win the 2024 Election

By Wayne Allyn Root

RFK Jr. just announced for president a couple of weeks ago resulting in a total blackout/blacklist of RFK in the mainstream media. And the DNC has already announced there will be no Democrat presidential debates - denying RFK any platform to reach the voters. Yet RFK Jr. is tied for number one most popular politician in America. How can this be? Because he's been outspoken about the COVID "vaccine." In fact, the shot is the biggest failure, disaster and coverup in the history of healthcare. It never worked. It is dangerous and deadly. It's a killing machine.

The mainstream media refuses to report about COVID "vaccine" deaths and injuries; and the deaths by shot are covered up by the media as tightly as Hunter Biden's laptop. And the one and only candidate for president talking about this deadly healthcare disaster and fraud is RFK Jr. The American people know; pretty much every conservative patriot in America (Trump's base) knows the vaccine is a disaster and deadly. 50% or more of independents know too. And I’m betting at least 25% of Democrats are waking up to the truth too. That's a gigantic swath of the electorate. JFK Jr. has struck a chord with that large group. His base would make up for Trump's one weakness: the COVID shot. [more...]

Selective Stats Leave Suspicious Fingerprints All Over the Crime Debate

By John Lott

As gun violence has spiked across the country, Republicans have pointed to the steady stream of shootings in Democratic-controlled cities such as Chicago, Detroit, and St. Louis to argue that strict gun laws are not the main driver of mayhem. In response, Democrats and their supporters have tried to turn the tables on the GOP by noting that gun violence is highest in Republican states: "Gun Violence Worse in Red States. It's Not Even Close," a headline in Politico proclaimed; "Red States Have Higher Gun Death Rates Than Blue States," Forbes reported. The conflicting storylines underscore how various data sets and definitions can be used to politicize and spin the problem of violent crime in the U.S. [more...]

It's Time to Prosecute Hunter and Impeach Joe Biden

By Judd Dunning

With Hunter Biden agreeing to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax offenses (and is expected to reach an agreement with prosecutors on the felony charge of illegally possessing a firearm as a drug user), does this deal end a long-running Justice Department investigation? Christopher Clark, a lawyer for the younger Biden, said it was his understanding the five-year investigation had now been resolved. But what about the Hunter Biden laptop saga - one of the lowest points in America's moral and legal history? Add to this Joe’s public failure of a presidency. With so much of the Biden family dirty laundry out on the international clothesline to dry, no doubt remains for those choosing awareness. Biden is a failed, broken, greedy, corrupt, power-hungry, hedonistic father and a highly compromised president who should have been impeached by now.

As China Debate Heats Up, Biggest Risk is Shift in Focus

By Kenneth Rapoza

The long China trade has been a dud since 2020. You can blame Xi Jinping's Zero COVID policies. And you can blame Washington, too. The trade war continues to pick away at China's stature as the world's most favorite market (after the U.S.) and the world's go-to manufacturer. It's definitely not pretty these days in China. If you bet President Biden would wipe out Trump-era China policies, you bet wrong; he has kept Trump's China policies and expanded on some. Beijing hates them all. [more...]

The Biden Admin Spent Two Years Trying to Get FBI to Go After Trump Over J6

By Daniel Greenfield

The FBI obviously needs a lot of housecleaning, but the key point to remember is that the ground zero of the weaponization has always been in the Department of Justice where political appointees have profoundly corrupted the system. The Washington Post found that senior Justice Department and FBI officials rejected or rebuffed early proposals to investigate actions taken by President Trump and his close allies leading up to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. As a result, more than a year passed before federal prosecutors and FBI agents embarked on a formal investigation into nonviolent efforts within Trump's orbit to steal the 2020 election. The Biden DOJ needed more political operatives on board to further weaponize the Justice Department and the FBI against its political opponents. [more...]

AI Plays God

By James Hirsen

If someone were to propose a fundamental alteration of sacred writings, it would be extremely disturbing and highly offensive to members of religious congregations. As it turns out, someone has done just that - proposed a fundamental alteration of the Holy Scriptures. Yuval Noah Harari, a contributor and advisor to the World Economic Forum, is pushing a new global bible, one that would purportedly be AI-generated. When Harari was being interviewed by journalist Pedro Pinto in Lisbon, Portugal, he touted AI as different from all other technologies, because, in his words, it is "the first technology ever that can create new ideas." AI can write a new Bible! [more...]

Merck Fighting for Rights, Market-based Health Care

"This is not 'negotiation,'" the company says in its official complaint. "It is tantamount to extortion." [more...]
