Tyranny is the Deadliest Virus
By Karen Kataline

Before the coronavirus changed life as we knew it, we saw numerous manufactured protests over false stories and petty grievances. The primary complaint was usually that the offending word or action constituted tyranny. On its face, it was ridiculous. Today, those same leftist agitators and protesters could not have rushed fast enough to comply with orders that are the very definition of tyranny. Not only have they complied but they’ve been among the first to bully those who dare to question or maybe even protest!

How did we arrive at a place where so few Americans understand the definition and the preciousness of liberty? Indeed, it appears that we are dealing with an ugly virus that is deadlier to some age groups and geographic areas than others, but the same politicians who have zealously shut down entire states have stubbornly rejected any good news. They are committed to ramping up fear that makes it conveniently more likely that citizens will view their extreme orders as necessary and proper. The more that Americans dutifully comply with increasingly strict orders from politicians and government bureaucrats to shut down their lives and their livelihoods and confine themselves to their homes, the stricter and more stringent those orders continue to become.

As the virus of tyranny continues to spread through our nation, it is essential that we take care of our liberties as well as our health. If we don’t, we will lose both. [more...]

An Even Bigger War: The One Against Expanding Government
By Lowell Ponte

The battle against COVID-19 conceals a bigger war: the imperial assault by politicians to wrest power from the people and permanently expand the government. A major weapon used against us in this war is what psychologists and brainwashers call an "availability cascade," a self-reinforcing cycle of repeated claims designed to use medieval-type "authority" and irrational emotions such as fear to bypass our thinking mind and manipulate the illogical collective "herd inside our heads," our "groupthink" minds which be cowed or stampeded. President Trump Emphasizes Reopening the U.S.
By James Hirsen

As a nation, we are all sacrificing to achieve a victory over the invisible enemy. However, we have another threat to with which to deal that involves an essential part of the American fabric, gainful employment. President Donald Trump touched upon our need for honest and productive work in a recent briefing when he spoke about the importance of restarting the U.S. economic engine. “Let me be extremely clear about one point. We will move Heaven and Earth to safeguard our great American citizens,” the president said. “We will continue to use every power, every authority, every single resource we’ve got to keep our people healthy, safe, secure and to get this thing over with. We want to finish this war. We have to get back to work.” [more...]

Telehealth is More Than an Emergency Measure During Coronavirus
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

The coronavirus pandemic has forced people inside and put unprecedented strain on our nation's hospitals. Together, these factors have made it nearly impossible for patients to seek routine medical care in person. As a result, an increasing number have turned to telehealth. Remotely delivered care isn't new. But it took the spread of the coronavirus to push it into the mainstream. Telehealth is already distinguishing itself as a crucial tool in the fight against COVID-19 and can serve us long after this pandemic subsides. [more...]

Hamas Wants Americans Dead of Coronavirus, Democrats Want to Send Hamas Aid
By Daniel Greenfield

Thousands of Americans have died of the coronavirus. But ‘Gaza Firster’ Democrats don’t care. Eight Senate Democrats, including Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren, dispatched a four-page letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, demanding to know what America was doing about the coronavirus. Not in America. In Gaza. [more...]
