The NYC Mayoral Election Will Come Down to Turnout, Not Polls
By Daniel Greenfield, CEO of the Horowitz Freedom Center
The polls don't matter.
The long silly debate over whether Cuomo or Sliwa should drop
out is pointless and moot. The base for both candidates is unlikely to switch.
In a two-man race, some Sliwa supporters might vote for Cuomo just to oppose
Mamdani, others will just stay home, while few Cuomo voters, who are mainly
Democrats, stand any real chance of going to Sliwa. The polls being brandished
by both sides are only semi-relevant because everything will come down to
turnout. Mamdani ended up as the nominee in a low-turnout primary because his
base - leftists and Muslims - had all the enthusiasm and no one was especially
enthusiastic about voting for Cuomo. That's still the case. [more...] Watch Daniel at www.RallyForNYC.org on Nov. 2
The Most Misunderstood Infrastructure Project on the Planet
By Kerry Lutz, Host of Financial Survival Network
How Elon's tunnels are quietly rewriting the laws of urban mobility
When future historians look back at the 2020s, they'll see the
Las Vegas Loop as the Wright Flyer of urban transit - mocked and misunderstood -
but still the first machine that actually flew. The Boring Company didn't
invent tunnels; they invented a way to build mobility without bureaucracy. They
drilled under the problem - literally - and proved that private innovation can
move faster than public paralysis. [more...]
The Dire Hour to Defend American Beauty
Michael Finch's gripping new classic unveils the fight for the heart of a nation.
A TIME TO STAND: The Dire Hour
to Defend American Beauty, authored by Freedom Center President Michael Finch, is
a powerful tribute to the enduring spirit of America - our liberty, our land,
our hopes, our memories, our faith and the beauty of our culture that we seek
to restore. Finch clearly but poetically
lays out what is at stake in the fight against the leftist ethos that views
America as a systematically racist, sexist, nation steeped in original sin: "American
culture is rotting," he states, adding that "The 'uglification' of
American culture is so pervasive that it is almost impossible to imagine that
something better, more beautiful and enduring had once existed... or that we
may be able to climb out of the cultural morass we find ourselves in."

Trump vs. Blue Cities
By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened
Over the past few months, President Trump has deployed troops
into Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Portland and Chicago with the stated
intention of protecting ICE agents and federal property, and to restore safety
and security for the cities' residents. Democratic governors and mayors have
reacted with outrage. At one level, their frustrations seem to be an outgrowth
of an over-arching narrative that has come to dominate Party thinking: i.e.,
that Trump represents an existential threat to democracy and his "troop
deployments" are the beginning of a hostile takeover of Democratic
enclaves. At a second, more granular level, Trump's opponents have made a
series of legal and political charges regarding these actions, including that
the deployments are... [more...]
Dem Makes a Throat-Slashing Gesture
By Robert Spencer, Author of Intifada on the Hudson: The Selling of Zohran Mamdani
Leftists all over the country have been making
it clear for quite some time: they love violence and want to see violence done
to patriots. There was all the leftist cheering after the assassination of
Charlie Kirk, as well as numerous more or less veiled calls from leftist
politicians to go after those whom they fear and hate with weapons a good bit more
lethal than compelling debate points. Now, a Texas state representative,
Jolanda Jones (D-Of Course), has added her name to the list of these
politicians with a throat-slashing gesture that she made - so afraid is she of
Trump's alleged fascist stormtroopers - not in the privacy of her lavish
dwelling, but on CNN. [more...]
Bringing Back the Cultural Revolution
By Mark Tapson, Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center
As has been made shockingly clear since the
assassination of peaceful activist Charlie Kirk, Democrats now don't even
bother to rein in rhetoric that celebrates and incites violence against their
political opponents, whom they justify hating and killing by declaring them
fascists and Nazis. Veteran Democrat strategist James Carville's recent
outburst, for example, demonstrates that they are ready to bring back the most
disturbing excesses of Mao's Cultural Revolution. [more...]
