specifically to the Boeing 737 MAX jet problem, in recent weeks. It can be hard
to know which airline stocks to buy now and which to ignore. I always use
profit growth as my first line of defense when deciding, on the theory that
rising profits should theoretically lead to rising share prices. At this moment, Alaska Air
Group (ALK) and Southwest Airlines
(LUV) are
projected to deliver much stronger 2020 earnings growth than American
Airlines Group (AAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), Spirit Airlines (SAVE) and United
Airlines Holdings (UAL), while Hawaiian Holdings (HA) is expected to see profits fall in both 2019

Someone in Hollywood is finally standing up to China. Bucking
the trend of the big studios, which have been routinely allowing Chinese
censors to dictate movie content, Quentin Tarantino has made it clear that he
will not alter his latest film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” as Chinese
officials had demanded. As a result, China has cancelled the release of
Tarantino’s fantasy-dramedy, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. The
homage to 1960s Hollywood had originally been scheduled to hit Chinese movie

people should not exist. I propose that we impose a confiscatory 97.5 percent tax
rate on them to make their survival impossible," we would be outraged at
such evil racism. But socialist Senator Sanders recently said exactly this
about billionaires - that they should not exist, and that he would use a 97.5
percent tax on them to end their existence. Most people assume that it should
be a hate crime to attack people for genetic traits such as skin color that
they were born with and cannot control... but most of us believe that wealth is
not influenced by your DNA, your inherited genetic blueprint. Recent
scientific research, however, indicates that 37 to 48 percent of a person's

actual details and context. I was in Miami, Florida last weekend to speak in

The Communist Party of China, the nation’s single ruling party, heavy-handedly mandates so. Notably, since 2012, when Xi Jinping became the General Secretary of the Communist Party, censorship has increased significantly. Apparently, tech giants Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and Yahoo have been voluntarily self-censoring their content for Chinese markets in order to continue conducting business with the country. This not only means that you can stop feeling guilty or fearful of chowing down on a steak, but also that the media propaganda about an occasional hamburger causing cancer or heart attacks was wildly exaggerated. Meat, in fact, made us what we are. It gave our cave dweller ancestors larger brains and a life as hunters, not the hunted. Before banishing beef outright, leftists plan to impose taxes of up to 163 percent on the price of meat, a regressive and greedy "meat tax" that will take meat's health benefits out of the mouths of poorer Americans. First, they plead poverty, and then they claim they don’t have enough money for the services that are their duty to fund. What they don’t tell you is that they’ve been spending their time and money on programs and projects that are not their duty to fund. The universality of these tactics are not unlike the one-size-fits-all, near identical bills that are being forced through state legislatures to change national policy and do an end run around Congress. This is something Schiff lied about on national television; he said he had never spoken directly with the whistleblower. That’s just one lie in a string of lies that never seems to matter if you’re a Democrat or if you’re out to destroy the President. Leftist conspiracy-monger Adam Schiff was aware of select details of the Ukraine-Biden allegations against President Trump before a lying CIA snitch reportedly involved in the case filed a complaint under a whistleblower law, according to the intermittently reliable New York Times. It has been widely reported that the CIA official’s complaint was based on a July 25 telephone conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the said stoolie somehow learned about. Trump stands accused by Democrats without any credible evidence whatsoever of trying to muscle the government of Ukraine into investigating a potential 2020 opponent, Joe Biden, in order to discredit his campaign. In the profile section where it asks you about the most important qualities that you’re looking for in a person, the first word I used was athletic. It’s not that I’m only interested in dating Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Rather, it’s because they live to be 100 in my family. I don’t want to fall in love with a somewhat unhealthy person who doesn’t watch their calories, doesn’t exercise, and will probably die when I’m age 70, leaving me without an excellent companion for my 30 remaining years. I want to increase the odds that I will be able to find a wonderful person and enjoy their company for decades to come – not just a decade. [more...]

Today the People's Republic of China celebrates its 70th
birthday as the world's biggest and richest Communist state. In 1972, President
Richard Nixon bet America's future on our ability to turn China capitalist before
we made it so rich that it could buy a military capable of defeating us. Today
many Americans are teaching their children Spanish and their grandchildren Chinese
because we may be losing Nixon's gamble. This column looks at how we nearly
won, creating a kind of merger with China that one historian called
"Chimerica." For a time, Communist China even appeared to be
becoming Christian. President Trump's trade negotiations with China will

Clint Eastwood's Latest Film Tells Richard Jewell's Tragic Story

Like so many of the characters he portrays on the big screen,
the Clint Eastwood of real life is an unapologetic iconoclast who refuses to
conform to the politically correct ideology of Hollywood. In deciding on the
location for his latest film, Clint chose the state of Georgia, ignoring the
many calls by celebrity peers to boycott the state because of its passage of
life affirming “heartbeat” legislation. The legislative measure prohibits
abortions after a baby’s heartbeat can be detected. Major studios that film in
Georgia, including Netflix, Disney, and AMC, have indicated that they may move
their productions out of the state. Clint refused to buy into it. His latest
cinematic project, “The Ballad of Richard Jewell,” was filmed in Georgia
because that happens to be where the real-life events that are portrayed in the

The biggest lie of all is that these politicians and un-elected bureaucrats ever wanted to lower unemployment (minority or otherwise), make us energy independent, increase opportunities for the prosperity of everyday citizens, secure our borders and protect our sovereignty. The fact that President Trump has made these the centerpiece issues of his agenda and even worse, is actually accomplishing these things in record time is the real reason they have been fomenting blind and irrational hatred of him by any means necessary. Living in a Post-Truth World

Post-truth people in the
media were taught that the concept of truth is obsolete. Postmodernism rules on
American campuses today, and a core idea of the postmodernists is that claims
to truth are meaningless. The post-truth era promises to be a wild ride. For example, in a trial
we must swear our testimony will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but
the truth - but if there is no such thing as truth, what does that oath mean?
For that matter, what does it mean for someone to make a promise if there is no
truth? Once upon a time, reporters in America at least claimed to be professionally
dedicated to finding the truth and reporting the news, but no more. How
