ACT for America Responds to Mar-a-Lago Dinner Cancellation

Over the weekend, CAIR, the discredited SPLC, and the fake news media, went on the attack and publicized our private dinner gala being held at Mar-a-Lago this November. The articles published falsely claimed that ACT for America is an Islamophobic "hate group" seeking influence with the President by using his private club.

Regrettably, the Trump attorneys in New York caved to the Left’s bullying tactics and made a decision to cancel our event within hours of the articles coming out. Although ACT for America is disappointed in the cancellation, our mission remains the same, and we will continue to stand with President Trump and support him in his fight to save our country.

ACT for America Founder and Chairman, Brigitte Gabriel released the following statement:

"This is a perfect example of how Free Speech is on its last breath in this country. The radical leftist smear machine like the SPLC, CAIR, and the fake news media will lie, twist the truth, and take words out of context in order to destroy those with whom they disagree. While we are disappointed in the decision made by the Trump Organization attorneys, we do not blame President Trump or the Trump family. ACT For America, with its over one-million-member base, will continue to stand with President Trump and support his fight for the soul of our country, and his fight to protect and preserve our freedoms. They are under assault like never before. ACT for America will never stop fighting for truth and free speech. We will not be silenced."

  1. SPLC is dedicated to the premise that the left can hate all it wants and its victims have no right to even defend themselves; that minority status somehow insulates a person from rightful charges of being a bigot and that merely being aware of the history of mohammedanism makes a person an "islamophobe", whatever THAT is.
