The Supreme Court's decision to
stay the injunction blocking President Trump's March executive
order on mail-in ballots gives voters something they are clamoring for:
greater confidence in election integrity. A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds
that, by a 52% to 34% margin, likely voters say the government has
not done enough to prevent election cheating. Even more striking, voters say
by nearly two to one that widespread cheating is likely to affect the

In a recent incident, New York Governor Kathy Hochul donned a
hijab when visiting an Islamic Center in New York to speak to Muslim
constituents. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) did the same about three months
back. Their actions indicate a deference to Islam that seems decidedly out of
step with their aggressive claims about gender equality (and indeed about
female supremacism). Feminist women in the West exhibit a toxic love affair
with Islam that demonstrates how their rhetoric about women's empowerment is
ultimately hollow. Nowhere is this more evident than in their eagerness to wear
the hijab in the company of Muslim men. Such feminists will destroy
themselves and their country in their eagerness to proclaim their pro-Islamic

There is a disturbing report detailing thousands of public
health complaints involving street-food vendors across Los Angeles County.
According to the California Post, a previously unreleased 662-page
government dossier contains 9,746 complaints filed between 2023 and early 2026.
The allegations reportedly include a dog eating meat from a vendor's bag before
it was served, cockroaches crawling from a food truck, mice near open salsa,
raw meat sitting unrefrigerated in the heat, and people urinating around
cooking equipment. These complaints describe conditions that sound less like a
major American city and more like a public-health nightmare. Yet officials who

Why People Commit Terrorism

must revisit this subject, no matter how painful. Apart from the fact that
terror icons like Osama bin Laden and Yasser Arafat were wildly wealthy men,
economic inequality does not drive people to plow vehicles into a crowd
of Christmas shoppers or slaughter a sleeping family. Only
blind ideological hatred does that. No matter how terrorists and their
apologists want to dress it up, terrorism is never just or justifiable, and its
innocent victims are never responsible. It is always and everywhere a murderous
cruelty born of a bottomless, sick hatred that is a toxic blend of the

As the 25th anniversary of 9/11
fast approaches, we must wake up to the possibility of another attack. Our
nation's major metropolitan areas have detailed community response plans for
hurricanes, forest fires, and other natural disasters. But in my decades in the
field, I have noticed a worrisome gap: pre-disaster community planning for a
nuclear event such as a terrorist plot. To fill several gaps in our current
level of readiness, the federal government's old civil defense plans,
terminated in 1994, need to be resurrected and modernized. Community Emergency
Response Teams (CERT) classes, overseen by FEMA, need to be mandatory in
schools. Depending on community voluntary participation is not nearly enough. [more...]
